This is a song I wrote specifically for ‘a weird erotic scene between two girls’ (or that’s just about how it was described) in an upcoming horror/comedy from the USA. The song was really considered for the scene, but in the end they went with another song. Oh well, that’s how it goes.
The producers of the movie were looking for a song to replace My Bloody Valentine’s ‘Only Shallow’ (that was the song that worked well for the scene). Since that song was too expensive for them to license, they were looking for a similar song to replace it. Hence my song’s ‘instrumental chorus’ and the dreamy semi-alternative-ness of the song.
I wrote and recorded it in a couple of days’ time to meet the set deadline. The song is called ‘No She Won’t’.
